1:30 a.m. Eric Miller, Master Naturalist— Native Ephemerals for the Home Garden
In this presentation Master Naturalist Eric Miller will discuss incorporating native woodland plants in shade gardens with a focus on native spring ephemerals. Miller will recommend species especially good for home gardens and share the challenges of incorporating these plants. He’ll also touch on the ecological and aesthetic reasons for including native ephemerals and their role in the preservation of native pollinators.
