Join the Des Moines Ikes Tuesday, January 8 for a tasty Walleye dinner and a presentation from Dr. James Pease, Emeritus Assoc. Professor, Natural Resource Ecology and Management, ISU, on "Reflections on Iowa Rivers and Their Futures." Having paddled over 1800 miles of Iowa rivers for the Iowa Water Trails Program, Dr. Pease has some unique insights to share about Iowa rivers, their futures, and their importance to Iowa's wildlife.

His experience includes teaching interpretation to undergraduate and graduate students for 24 years, research on impact of interpretive and education strategies, over two decades as an Extension Wildlife Specialist, director of Iowa’s Nature Mapping and Master Conservationist programs, and fifteen years in youth development and natural resources.
