Join Kay Neumann, Executive Director of SOAR Tuesday, February 5 at the Des Moines Izaak Walton League for A Look Back and Ahead for Soar! Did you know that SOAR - Saving Our Avian Resources is celebrating 20 years of raptor rehabilitation, raptor education, and raptor research in 2019? Learn about the SOAR beginnings and where we are today, including an update on current building projects. SOAR’s mission is three-fold, raptor rehabilitation, raptor education, and raptor research. Our goals are to establish a regional raptor rehabilitation facility to serve western Iowa (and then some), use personal connections with individual, wild animals to bring attention to important natural resource conservation projects and issues, and conserve habitat, conduct needed research, and provide educational opportunities.

Admission is free for the program at 7, with doors opening at 5:30 and dinner is available at member prices. If you're joining us for dinner please contact Carolyn at 515-244-3773.
