You're invited to join us Tuesday, March 19th for "Iowa Environmental Council: 23 Years of Engagement and Action" (Including a 2019 Legislative Update). The IEC's Executive Director Jennifer Terry will talk about the IEC, their mission, their issues, and the work they do. After Jen their lobbyist, Dane Schumann of Advocacy Strategies, will speak about natural resource legislative priorities and outlooks for this session at the State house: What is possible or likely this session that would protect habitat, health, soil, and water. The Iowa Environmental Council is a nonpartisan alliance of diverse organizations & individuals working together to protect & preserve Iowa's environment. The IEC is an organization devoted to positive change and land stewardship, and this is sure to be an outstanding program and learning opportunity you won't want to miss!
